This writer obviously knows the Bible well, a commendable skill. He writes with passion as he combines a number of Bible verses on each subject in his chapters. He adds minimal author comments, but interesting ones.
For someone new to Christianity, the chapters can be most informative, although individual chapters do not always stick clearly to one focus. That doesn’t hinder the reading, though.
The book can also be a reminder to older believers. The volume is best read in small sections to study each one thoroughly.
The problem with self-publishing, even by as auspicious a publisher as Westbow, may be inadequate copy editing/proof reading of galleys. A section of one verse is missing, changing its meaning, as well as a at least a dozen typos.
