Joseph James Slawek and his company Flavors of North America (FONA) have consistently won awards and recognition for excellence. Mr. Slawek writes about how to achieve similar success, based on Matthew 25. He specifically uses concepts from the story of the ten virgins, the three levels of talents and the sheep and goats.
The author acknowledges that not everyone has equal talents, but we can know, develop and use our unique abilities. He states that if we don’t use our talents, we will lose them, must redistribute unused talents and resources, and be ready for an accounting to God about what we did with our abilities.
We must plan ahead, aim for excellence, not perfection, and be ready for surprises. Seek the maximum return from faithful use of your talents. Always express gratitude.
Many of Mr. Slawek’s success ingredients are similar to those in a number of other books, but his writing style makes the ideas easy to remember and apply. His list truly works for success in life as well as in businesses.
